Experiences in Offshore operations

There is a part of our personnel who has been involved in offshore projects Azerbaijan, Egypt, and Colombia.

AZERBAIJAN, CASPIAN SEA:
Oil and gas wells with high flowrates (30,000 BOPD and 220 MMSCFD). Gas wells are deep (6,000 -6,500 m), HPHT, and with narrow PPFG windows. Oil wells are not too deep (4,500m), in zones with shallow soil hazards, and unconsolidated reservoirs, completed with OHGP. In both cases, state-of-art technology was deployed for drilling those wells. The drilling platforms and Jack up unit operate in shallow waters, with WD up to 150 m.

EGYPT, MEDITERRANEAN SEA, NILE DELTA
Exploratory gas well, HPHT, with narrow PPFG windows. It was required to deploy a 15 K Jack up, and to use new technology for reaching the exploration objectives (i.e. Solid expandable tubular, 15 K mono block BOPs).

COLOMBIA 2011-2012, CARIBBEAN SEA
Exploratory project in the block RC5, in shallow waters (41-45m). This zone has a high risk for shallow gas flows, unconsolidated shallow soils, as well as tight environmental restrictions. It was considered a remote location due to the lack of infrastructure and well services near by. This project was performed with a diverse, emerging team with engineers from Equion Energia. Petrobras and Ecopetrol.  It was declared a dry gas discovery in 2012.
