Our engineers have been involved in projects in Colombia, Hungary and Ukraine, which basis characteristics are described as follows:
COLOMBIA
Piedemonte Llanero, and Valle Superior del Magdalena:
Light oil and condensate gas wells, with hard to extra-hard formations, and total depths of 4,500 - 6,000m (14,800 – 19,700 ft); those are tectonically active environments, with hole stability problems, HPHT and depleted reservoirs.
Orinoquia-Llanos, Caquetá/Putumayo Basins:
Heavy and extra heavy oil wells, with depths of 2,000 -4,000 m (6,500 -13,000 ft), some of them highly deviated and some of them horizontal wells.
HUNGARY
Non Conventional - Tight gas exploration well, with hard formations, H2S, HPHT, completed to be hydraulic fractured, drilled to a total depths 4,000m (13,000 ft).
UCRANIA
Non Conventional - Tight gas development wells, with hard formations, and total depths up to 6,000m (19,700 ft), HPHT, completed to be hydraulic fractured. Operations in remote location, and under extreme weather conditions.
